- Helped a client consolidate the operations and work
force of three plants into a new facility in the span of nine months.
To facilitate this, Henson & Efron attorneys negotiated the
termination, on beneficial terms, of three large-scale industrial
facility leases, negotiated a new lease on a separate facility involving
substantial renovations and tenant improvements, and coordinated
of all these transactions to ensure an efficient and economic result
for the client. The integration of four essentially distinct transactions
into a common project provided significant benefit for the client.
- Represented sellers and buyers of commercial and
residential real estate ranging in value from vacant land through
multi-million dollar manufacturing facilities
- Drafted complex arrangement of easements and other
possessory rights to satisfy lessors of paper making equipment
- Negotiated terms and drafted documents for the sale
and subdivision of four hydroelectric dams
- Shared use relationships to accommodate facility
for producing electricity from landfill gas
- Advised landlords and tenants in residential, commercial
and shopping center lease matters and negotiated and drafted leases
for residential and commercial property
- Drafted title opinions and advised clients on matters
related to title insurance
- Represented real estate developers in connection
with subdivision of property and construction of homes
- Advised court-appointed receivers in real estate
foreclosure proceedings
