announce that one of its attorneys have been invited to speak at the Minnesota
CLE Conference Bankruptcy Reform 2006 on May 8, 2006. The Bankruptcy
Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005 (BAPCPA) has had
significant impacts on bankruptcy practices; Henson & Efron attorneys,
along with other distinguished legal professionals from Minnesota, will
present an analysis of the areas of concern flowing from the implementation
of BAPCPA.
Henson & Efron will be co-presenting a session entitled, “Professionalism
in Consumer Bankruptcy Practice: Substance and Ethics,” reviewing the major provisions of the legislation
that will and have impacted attorneys on both sides in consumer cases – new
duties, new notice provisions, penalties, and more.
