Kampf & Associates, P.A. Merges with Henson & Efron, P.A. Expanding Service Offerings at Henson & Efron in the Bankruptcy and Workout Arena

November 1, 2003, Minneapolis, MN – The law firms of Kampf & Associates, P.A., and Henson & Efron, P.A., are pleased to announce that effective November 1, 2003, the two firms will merge. The Kampf firm brings a sophisticated practice in the areas of bankruptcy, workouts and business reorganization which will complement Henson & Efron's comprehensive litigation, corporate law and family law groups. Following the merger, the firm will practice under the name Henson & Efron, P.A.

"Bill Kampf is on a very short list of nationally recognized bankruptcy and workout attorneys," said Henson & Efron managing partner, Joe Dixon. The Kampf & Associates attorneys joining Henson & Efron include William I. Kampf and Richard E. Shinofield.

William I. Kampf, is one of the nation's leading bankruptcy, workout and business reorganization practitioners. He is widely published, is a frequent speaker on bankruptcy issues and has been recognized as a Super Lawyer® and included in The Best Lawyers in America , as well as Who's Who in America. He has served as Chair of the Minnesota State Bar Association's Bankruptcy Section and as a Panel Trustee. He taught Bankruptcy and Debtor and Creditor Rights at William Mitchell College of Law, and is currently teaching a clinical course in bankruptcy at the University of Minnesota School of law. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Crown Bank. Kampf received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Minnesota Law School, and his undergraduate degree from Colgate University in New York.

Shinofield is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Law and focuses in the areas of commercial transactions and mergers and acquisitions.
