June 24, 2005, Minneapolis, MN – Attorneys Joseph T. Dixon, Jr., Clark D. Opdahl, and Scott A. Neilson have been elected by the partners of Henson & Efron, P.A., to serve on its newly formed management committee. The three-person management committee will be charged with providing the Board of Directors with long range strategic planning and direction, monitoring the firm’s economic performance, and determining future policies for the firm.
“The move toward a team-based approach to managing the firm will be a welcome addition to our current management model,” said Joe Dixon, who has served as the firm’s managing partner for over 25 years. “As the firm continues to grow, we must look at bringing the next generation of leaders into the active management and administration of the firm. Forming a management committee seemed to be the best way to accomplish this,” he added. Dixon will continue on in his role of Managing Partner of the firm.
In addition to serving as the firm’s managing partner, Dixon practices in the areas of commercial litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), products liability, employment litigation, and general business litigation.
Opdahl currently serves as chair of the firm’s business group. He practices in the areas of commercial transactions, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions.
Neilson serves clients in the areas of commercial litigation, real estate litigation, products liability litigation, and employment law.
