Effective Use of Buy/Sell Agreements in Closely Held Business will take place on May 29, 2003 at US Bank Riverbank Operations Center in St. Paul and on June 26 at the Doubletree Hotel in St. Louis Park. This seminar will cover such topics as goals, valuation methods, triggering events, estate planning considerations and practical solutions to typical problems.

This is the second seminar topic specifically prepared for and presented to accountants by attorneys from the law firm of Henson & Efron, P.A. Approximately 200 Twin Cities’ accountants attended Considerations in Choosing a Business Entity, the first seminar topic presented this fall.

Considerations in Choosing a Business Entity will take place on June 6, 2003 at the downtown location of US Bank in St. Cloud. This seminar covers tax and non-tax related considerations when choosing type of business entity. As Henson & Efron attorney Scott Hagel explains, “Many accountants help new businesses select the appropriate type of business entity. Taxes do play a role in making the determination but there are many other business and legal related considerations that should be factored into the decision.”

The seminar qualifies for 2 CPE credits and is free to participants. Registration is required. Please contact Marie Tushar at 612.339.2500, or visit www.hensonefron.com, for more information on the seminar series.
