July 9, 2007, Minneapolis, MN – The Minneapolis law firm of Henson & Efron is pleased to announce attorney Jeff Carpenter has accepted an offer to be a partner of the firm. Carpenter's areas of practice include banking, real estate and general business representation.
Before joining Henson & Efron, Carpenter was a partner with Rider Bennett, LLP, also in Minneapolis, where he spent his entire career. He graduated from Hamline School of Law after which he clerked for the United States Bankruptcy Court under Judge Margaret Mahoney.
Along with his list of institutional banking and business clients in the private sector, Carpenter also assists local school districts and other public sector clients in the areas of finance, real estate and general business matters. Carpenter is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and Hennepin County Bar Association. He is also gives frequent lectures on commercial lending, secured transactions, shareholder relations, and other business law topics.
