MINNEAPOLIS (Aug. 11, 2011) – The Minnesota Board of Nursing, the state’s second-largest health licensing board, today elected Stuart T. Williams as its vice president.Williams is a principal practicing in the business litigation group at Henson & Efron, P.A., a 32-attorney firm focusing in corporate, litigation, family, estate planning and real estate law.

The Minnesota Board of Nursing is responsible for licensing and regulating more than 100,000 nurses and all nursing school programs in the state of Minnesota, and Williams has served as a member of the board since July 2010. The mission of the Minnesota Board of Nursing is to protect the public's health and safety by providing reasonable assurance that the people who practice nursing are competent, ethical practitioners with the necessary knowledge and skills appropriate to their title and role.   

Williams also currently serves on the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy and the Lawyers Board of Professional Responsibility.
